Swiggy has appointed Ravi Pratap Singh as Head of Business Development – Real Estate and Facilities, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates expansion across food delivery, quick commerce and new service formats.
Singh joins Swiggy after concluding his stint at Eternal Limited, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, on January 31. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping and executing Swiggy’s real estate strategy, with a focus on building, scaling and optimising physical infrastructure across key markets.
His mandate includes overseeing site identification and acquisition, lease negotiations, facilities planning, and long-term asset optimisation to support Swiggy’s growing operational footprint. The role is expected to play a critical part as Swiggy continues to deepen its presence across cities and invests in infrastructure to enable faster deliveries and improved efficiency.
Singh brings significant experience in developing large-scale real estate networks for consumer-facing digital platforms. At Eternal Limited, he was closely involved in strengthening the physical infrastructure supporting Zomato and Blinkit, particularly in dense urban markets where quick commerce and hyperlocal delivery demand highly strategic locations.
The appointment comes at a time when real estate and facilities have become increasingly central to Swiggy’s growth strategy. As quick commerce models scale and delivery timelines tighten, access to well-located, cost-efficient and scalable assets has emerged as a key competitive lever.
With Singh at the helm of its real estate and facilities function, Swiggy aims to further align infrastructure planning with business growth as it enters its next phase of expansion across formats and geographies.
