Handcrafted apparel brand Suta has expanded its presence in the Delhi NCR region with the opening of a new store in Gurugram, marking its 19th retail outlet nationwide and its second in the region after Greater Kailash, New Delhi.
The 696 sq. ft Gurugram store houses Suta’s collection of handcrafted sarees, blouses and contemporary apparel. Staying true to the brand’s artisanal philosophy, the store design incorporates leftover fabric from sarees and blouses into the interiors, creating a space that reflects craftsmanship, sustainability and warmth.
The expansion comes at a time when demand for handcrafted and culturally rooted fashion continues to grow in Delhi NCR. With the new outlet, Suta aims to make its offerings more accessible to customers in Gurugram while reinforcing its commitment to thoughtfully designed retail environments.
Commenting on the launch, co-founder Sujata Biswas said the Gurugram store represents a deeper connection with a market that values tradition and design. She noted that the region has consistently shown strong appreciation for crafts, and the new space is intended to be more than just a retail outlet—a place for customers to engage with the stories and textures behind handcrafted clothing.
Co-founder Taniya Biswas added that each new store reflects the brand’s evolving journey alongside its community. She said the Gurugram launch is a tribute to customers who value comfort, timeless style and artisanal detail, and who have supported Suta’s growth from its early days to a 19-store national presence.
Suta currently operates across cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and Trivandrum. With the Gurugram opening on January 11, 2026, the brand now has two stores in the Delhi NCR market.
