In a ceremony steeped in tradition and significance, a pre-opening puja was organized by Vijayta Raheja and Nikhil K. Raheja of the K Raheja Group, along with Sudeep Jain, Managing Director (South West Asia), IHG Hotels & Resorts, to mark the forthcoming launch of their landmark hospitality project in Powai, Mumbai.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, adding both prestige and prominence to the event.
Positioned as a significant addition to Mumbai’s rapidly evolving hospitality scene, the large-scale development will feature a dual hotel complex alongside a convention centre. The project is expected to offer around 300 keys, 13 meeting rooms, four food and beverage outlets, expansive lawns, and multiple public and event spaces, with an anticipated opening in 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijayta Raheja congratulated the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and said, “Maharashtra continues to lead as one of India’s most progressive and investment-friendly states, driven by a strong focus on infrastructure, ease of doing business, and forward-looking governance under the leadership of our dynamic Chief Minister. Developments such as these further strengthen the state’s position as a preferred destination for tourism, business, and global investments.”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated the importance of such large-scale integrated developments, noting that they play a vital role in strengthening Mumbai’s position as a global destination for tourism, business, and international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). He congratulated the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts on this landmark venture.
