Lenovo India Posts 23% Rise in Q2 Revenue, Hits USD 1.2 Billion on Digitisation Push
AI-driven business lines continued to surge, with the company noting a 13-percentage-point increase in its AI-related revenue share, now accounting for 30% of total revenue.

Lenovo India reported a strong second quarter, with revenue rising 23% year-on-year to USD 1.2 billion, driven by rising digitisation, premium product demand and improved consumer sentiment following recent GST revisions.

Shailendra Katyal, Vice President and Managing Director of Lenovo India, said the company is benefiting from India’s growing importance as a global hub for digital capability centres and enterprise transformation. “We have seen strong demand across all categories, supported by higher digitisation trends, premiumisation and improved consumer sentiment on GST stimulus,” Katyal told PTI. He added that robust adoption of Lenovo’s AI-powered solutions across retail, MSME and enterprise customers contributed significantly to the quarter’s performance.

At the group level, Lenovo reported record quarterly revenue of USD 20.5 billion, up 15% from a year earlier. However, net income attributable to equity holders dipped 5% to USD 340 million.

AI-driven business lines continued to surge, with the company noting a 13-percentage-point increase in its AI-related revenue share, now accounting for 30% of total revenue. The growth was largely fuelled by high double-digit gains in AI servers and triple-digit growth in AI PCs, smartphones and services.

Lenovo Group CEO Yuanqing Yang said the company is well-positioned to capitalise on the global democratisation of AI. “Thanks to our clear strategy, operational excellence and relentless innovation, Lenovo delivered another quarter of record performance. We will continue to leverage our global/local model to capture hybrid AI opportunities and make AI truly personalised for every individual and enterprise,” he said.

Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group—the centrepiece of its personal AI strategy—registered revenue of USD 15.1 billion, up nearly 12% year-on-year. The PC business expanded its global market share to 25.6%, with AI PCs accounting for one-third of all units shipped.

The company’s Infrastructure Solutions Group reported a 24% surge in revenue to USD 4.1 billion, while the Solutions and Services Group grew 18% to USD 2.6 billion, supported by strong demand for support services.

Overall, Lenovo’s India performance underscores the accelerating adoption of AI and digital technologies across sectors, further strengthening the company’s position in one of its fastest-growing markets.
