ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) today announced the milestone 50th hotel signing for the Welcomhotel brand in India with the addition of new hotels in Shirdi and Bhubaneshwar to the growing brand portfolio. The soon-to-open destinations for the Welcomhotel brand include Gangtok in Sikkim and Bhopal & Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
ITCHL recently entered into definitive agreements with Sandy Resort Private Limited to operate their upcoming 73-room hotel in Shirdi, Maharashtra. The new alliance between the two companies also extends to a second 84-room hotel in in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha under the Welcomhotel brand
The addition of these latest properties takes the Welcomhotel portfolio to 51 hotels, comprising over 5,500 keys, including 30 operational hotels and 21 in the pipeline.
Over the past 12 months, the brand has significantly expanded its footprint with new signings across 16 locations. These include Ayodhya, Sarnath, and Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh; Bhubaneswar in Odisha; Bodh Gaya in Bihar; Jaipur and Salasar in Rajasthan; Karai and Rajkot in Gujarat; Mysuru in Karnataka; Nellore in Andhra Pradesh; Panjagutta and Shankarpally in Telangana; Selaqui in Dehradun, Uttarakhand; Shirdi in Maharashtra; and Mohali in Punjab.

Strengthening this momentum, ITCHL has entered into definitive agreements with Sandy Resort Private Limited to manage a 73-room hotel in Shirdi, Maharashtra. The collaboration also includes a second property, an 84-room hotel in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, both of which will operate under the Welcomhotel brand.
