Strengthening its footprint in Uttar Pradesh, ITC Hotels has signed a new 100 key property in Vrindavan under its Fortune Hotels portfolio. With this addition, the company’s presence in the state will expand to 17 properties, including operational and upcoming hotels such as Welcomhotel Prayagraj, WelcomHeritage Badi Kothi, and Fortune Select Ayodhya.
The hotel is slated to open in April 2030 and will offer well-appointed rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, banquet facilities, and modern amenities catering to both leisure and spiritual travellers. Vrindavan, home to revered sites such as Banke Bihari Temple and ISKCON Temple, draws millions of visitors annually. With limited premium accommodation options currently available, the development is positioned to address the rising demand for quality hospitality in the city.
Commenting on the signing, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, "Vrindavan is a strategic growth market. With increasing infrastructure development and rising domestic travel, the city continues to witness a surge in demand for quality branded accommodation. This agreement accelerates our expansion into high-growth leisure markets, directly advancing our focus on the evolving pilgrimage landscape."
This addition further builds Fortune Hotels’ development pipeline as the brand continues to grow its presence across prominent religious and leisure destinations in India.
