Hindustan Unilever Limited is continuing to expand its reach across emerging channels while reinforcing its core general trade network to support long term growth.

Hindustan Unilever Limited recorded a doubling of sales from hyperlocal delivery platforms in FY26 while its ecommerce business grew by more than 25 per cent highlighting the company’s accelerating focus on digital and omni channel expansion.

The company has established a dedicated Q-commerce team, strengthening its omni-channel execution as part of its strategy to tap into fast-growing digital channels, said its MD and CEO, Priya Nair, on Thursday.

"We have a dedicated team now for quick commerce and e-commerce, and we are also investing in general trade capabilities," Nair said, adding that the company has also created focused teams for open-format stores and chemist channels, which are witnessing strong growth even within traditional trade.

Hindustan Unilever Limited said its ecommerce business posted turnover growth of more than 25 per cent in FY26 driven by digital first assortments data led demand generation and stronger product availability across platforms.

The company added that its omni channel strategy integrating digital and offline distribution channels is beginning to show results supporting faster growth across categories.

"Building capabilities across channels and strengthening execution is enabling us to step up growth, and this strategy is now beginning to show outcomes," Nair added.

Hindustan Unilever Limited is continuing to expand its reach across emerging channels while reinforcing its core general trade network to support long term growth.

While the company has not disclosed specific revenue contribution from these channels some reports indicate that they accounted for nearly 3 per cent of its topline in the third quarter.

For FY26 Hindustan Unilever Limited reported total revenue of ₹65,219 crore.
