Vijay Sales Appoints Ranjit Satyanath as CIO to Lead Digital Transformation

Consumer electronics retailer Vijay Sales has appointed Ranjit Satyanath as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), reinforcing its technology leadership as the company accelerates its omnichannel growth strategy across India.

In his new role, Satyanath will spearhead the company's digital transformation initiatives, enterprise technology strategy and IT operations, with a focus on strengthening technology capabilities to support business expansion and enhance customer experience.

Satyanath joins Vijay Sales from The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where he served as Senior Vice President, IT and Digital. During his tenure, he led technology and digital initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer engagement.

He brings more than two decades of experience across retail, banking, hospitality and technology. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at Hippo Homes, Croma (Infiniti Retail Limited), Crossword Bookstores, Shoppers Stop, ICICI Bank, Birla Technologies Ltd., Asian Sky Shop, Primetime Media Services Ltd. and Elbee Express.

With deep expertise in digital transformation, enterprise technology and omnichannel retail, Satyanath's appointment is expected to strengthen Vijay Sales' technology roadmap as the retailer continues to scale its nationwide operations and digital capabilities.
