Thrill Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based company has recently launched Thrill on Android devices, a mobile matchmaking app that has men apply and women decide who gets on.
The two tier approach gives women users the power to vote on male applicants. Thrill's board of women approvers will make the final call. What does that mean? No fake users, no profile pictures of celebrities, no sunglasses inside and especially, no creeps – Thrill is keeping it real, said a release issued by the company.
“Guys, listen, we're not playing games here - if you aren't up to our standards of what's Thrilling, forget about joining Thrill. There are other sites that will have your harassment and inappropriate messages to women. Not us,” said Josh Israel, Co-Founder & CEO, Thrill.
The two "imported" co-founders from the US took a liking to the market and changing culture in India, moved here permanently and set out to solve some major issues with the current available products. After testing out some early versions, Thrill was born.
Users start their Thrill by rating images to define themselves. Then, move on to viewing their matches, and a fun feature: shaking the phone to boom - unlock four daily free matches. Rate which ones you find “Thrilling” or “Not Thrilling” and just chill. This is an anonymous process up until there has been mutual interest shown, and in that case Thrill matches you up!
Thrill has been recently funded by some value added investors from both India and Singapore. Thrill is currently available on Android devices and will be available for iPhone (iOS) in the next few weeks.
