Growing at 33 per cent, the e-commerce sector is expected to touch $76 billion by 2021 and the delivery/logistics constitutes approximately 12 per cent of this share.
Fuelled by the surging industry, the $50 billion Indian logistics sector saw a growth of about 80 per cent, making it the fifth-best performing major industry in India last year. India Post is set to tap into this market as e-commerce firms seek out more customers and expand into smaller cities.
