Cotton export limit increased

India will export an additional 1 million bales of cotton this year. This comes in the wake of greater supplies vis-a-vis local demand. After this decision , around 6.5 million bales of cotton has been allowed to exporter this year.Traders need to complete the exports by September 31, Anand Sharma told reporters. Shipments since the cotton marketing year totaled 5.2 million bales of 170 kilograms each, he said.
