About the founder
Mr. Vasantrao Ghatge, our founder was a true visionary.
Embarking on his career as a Professor of Botany in Rajaram College, Kolhapur, he gradually went on to scale illustrious heights in the corporate world.
It was his inherent knack of looking out for new ventures, that led him to start entrepreneurial ventures that are legendary in their own right, namely Ghatge Patil and Sons, Hem Kiran Diesels, Kirloskar Ghatge Patil; which was one of the pioneers in the ‘moped manufacturing sector’ with vehicle brands like ‘Laxmi Scooter’ & ‘Pizzaz’.
In the 1960's, when the foundry business was just beginning to grow, Mr. Ghatge, with his spirit of enterprise, began with manufacturing of ‘Brake Drums’ in Maharashtra, and ‘ Ghatge Patil Industries’ one of the leading foundries in Western Maharashtra was established.
Not limiting himself to these achievements, he further extended his arms and transcended into the Automobile dealership business.

Any agent who performs outstandingly is rewarded suitably. It is a matter of pride for us that we are able to provide adequate benefit and returns, and see to it that business becomes sustainable for the franchisees.
