It all began when a mother learned to bake so that her child could enjoy treats that were hygienically made with quality ingredients. Before long, the sweetness spread. Sharing her creations with friends and family led to orders for more.

Realizing there was a shortage of good-quality treats in the city suburbs prompted the family to open their first bakery, Batulz, in Khargar on June 1, 2018.

Their second outlet opened in Taloja a few weeks before the pandemic lockdown. During those dark days, Batulz's confections kept everyone's spirits up. The steady demand led to the opening of their third store in Ghot (Taloja Phase II) in October 2022.

Besides the tried-and-tested favorites, Batulz is adventurous when experimenting and coming up with unique flavors. They were the first to introduce the street food favorite, cotton-candy-flavored cake. Then another popular Indian sweet, Kulfi, made it onto the cake menu. The list goes on, and the team has no intention of stopping.

Just as new, unique, and tasty additions are made to the menu, the address list is also growing. There are plans to open more outlets soon. The Batulz team is planning big. They are well on their way to developing the brand beyond the city of Mumbai.
