Ariana Homes was founded by Bonnee Gupta back in 2007 with support from her husband Amit Gupta when they identified the need for readymade curtains which weren’t readily available at that time. Having moved houses in a hurry, it was not possible to get customised curtains made when they knew they might move again. They realised that this was not an isolated phenomenon. Most people in India with transferable jobs were looking for well-designed readymade curtains. Named after their first daughter, Ariana opened its very first doors on 7th October, 2007 in Kolkata, India.
Amit Gupta officially joined the business in December, 2011 after quitting the corporate life. The couple now runs the business together. What started as a humble store for readymade curtains has now expanded to a lifestyle brand that caters to creative individuals.
