The concept of villages, right from the moment one enters the restaurants gives one a feel of entering an Indian Villages.
Desi Vibes, gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner with a Desi twist to it. Here you can enjoy great meal coupled with a great ambiance. As the name suggests, we have recreated and glamorized our culture and presented it in a truly ethnic dining experience.
We greet our guests with typical Indian beverages-Jaljira or Shikanji in our traditional Kullads. Teamed with Pappad, these make the perfect appetizers. On the menu are some of the best Punjabi and Mughlai feasts with some of our special recipes like Rara Murgh, Murg Lababdar and Mutton Istew Hara Masala. Rich In taste, the food is presented in terracotta flatware and copper dishes.
If you thought that was enough, there’s more-dessert like Phirnee, a great example of the simplicity & great taste of Indian Food.
We have woven a beautiful picture of a traditional village in India. From the antique chairs of beaten woods, to the kancha & pebble flooring; the well; the mini cots and the beautiful tree with birds, all blend in to give the place a desi touch. The walls are made of actual gobar laepa, which in India’s “traditional home insulating technology”! Gobar Laepa is still used extensively in villages & smaller towns throughout India.
On the tables too, there’s a lot more than just foods! With its dedication to tradition, Desi Vibes has reached out far & wide to collect some of the oldest locks & knives in the country to be displayed in front of their patrons. Some of these artifacts are close to a thousand years old!
