Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.
With the objective of proliferating the use of Indian languages on computers, C-DAC evolved the PACE training programme in January 1996. The PACE programme seeks to impart training in the language of the respective state.
C-DAC has Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and P.G Diploma Courses in Computer Applications and Programming and Multi Media ranging from 1.5 months to 12 months. Candidates passing the Examination are eligible for the Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma/P.G Diploma from C-DAC, Pune.
