The reason can be traced back to the micronutrient deficiencies. Cost of malnutrition is estimated as 29 Billion annually.
We have a solution! A hard boiled sugar candy loaded with 6 vitamins – Vitamin A, B2, B6, C, Folic Acid and Iron – which are carefully chosen to address anemia. E.g. Vitamin C is essential for the absorption of the Iron.
It will be made available in the remotest villages of India in the pan shops, to grocery stores & medical stores for just Rs.1/-, truly democratizing nutrition. Though it can be consumed by all we will be focusing on children, adolescent girls and women so that we can save a million lives every year.
