About Us:
80 Degrees East is a pure vegetarian cafe, situated in Thillai Ganga Nagar, Nanganallur. The theme of our cafe is “travel and food”, and this is dedicated to all the travellers and chefs, who help us make great memories during our travels. At our cafe, we serve a wide variety of finger food, exotic sandwiches, fusion pastas, mocktails, ice creams, thick shakes, rice varieties and salads. Apart from the quality of food, our customer service, our warm staff, we are also popular for our ambience.
We’ve curated our menu in such a way that we bring together flavours from across the globe, onto one platter. Our food is strictly vegetarian, and we have modified the taste sensibilities slightly to match our Indian senses. Our plating is often very stylish, and definitely off beat from the usual. We try and implement rustic elements to make every customer’s food experience unique and ensure they take back good memories.
In the one and a half years of its establishment, the casual dining space has become a favourite among the whole locality. Foodies of all age groups frequent our cafe on a regular basis. We’ve evolved from being just a hangout space, to a destination where ideas and inspiration meet. We are a hit among kids as a venue for their birthdays; often a preferred place for business meetings; a mini hub where the creative bunch sit to brainstorm; a platform for aspiring talent to be showcased and lots more.
Being the only one of its kind restro-cafe in Nanganallur, we are overwhelmed with the response we have received. And have been getting constant and several requests from our loyal customers to expand our business across Chennai.
