One of the major problems in the education sector is the lack of proper systems to provide experiential learning in schools and also the incapacity of edu tech companies in providing end to end support and full proof content to the students. A 3D printing curriculum is designed for the schools in sync with the CBSE, IB and ICSE board and imparts 3D Printing and Designing skills with proper classroom integration of the various subjects being taught to them. The core skills that 3Dexter provides are visualization, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and subject integration through physical experience. 3Dexter’s vision is to bring innovation at its core and start mini factories in schools where students Visualize-Design-Create. 3Dexter labs are setup in schools where a set of trainers train the students in this technology and assessments are done through monthly and quarterly projects. More than 70 designs created per week in a school by students. Within 3 months of operations 3Dexter is currently operational in 6 schools in Delhi/NCR region with 15 more schools already in pipeline to adopt this technology. Further, for better efficiency we provide an online portal for students where they have access to video lectures, research objectives and other curriculum related information. 3Dexter’s target is to achieve 100 schools by the end of this academic year.
