About Oh My Shawarma (Eclectic Foods Private Limited)
Nothing can match the experience of having a mouth-watering street food. Billions of people around the world eat street food every day and the demand for street food is soaring every year. But how can we retain the same experience in an organized setup? A group of 3 foodies and start-up enthusiasts started Oh My Shawarma with a vision to revolutionize the street food industry by providing a superior street food experience to the customers.
The brand was started in 2017 with a small outlet in Chennai, and it quickly got visibility only through word of mouth. We spent close to 6 months in our central kitchen to come up with our unique recipe. The recipe is a fusion of various cuisines like Indian, Lebanese, Mexican, Turkish that suit our Indian taste buds. On your very first bite, you say "Oh My Shawarma"
Currently, we sell 20+ varieties of shawarma and we do continuous RD to launch more flavours. We are the first brand to launch different types of shawarma. We focus more on the volume per day per outlet. On average, we sell 300 to 500 shawarma per day per outlet. Hence, our outlets are able to breakeven in less than 9 months.
Currently the brand has presence in Chennai and Bangalore. We are looking to expand our operations pan India through franchise partners. The outlet could be in the form of a kiosk or a small store. We do not charge any royalty on sales.
