The Story of how Baithack was born

It wouldnt be wrong to say that we Indians share a special kind of love with chai. Chai is the second most commonly consumed drink in India after Water. The demand for chai in the Indian market is not going to witness a downfall anytime in the future. However, there are chai wallahs on every corner and chai is being served in every restaurant and cafe. In order to make Baithack an ever-growing business, we had to come up with something that no other chai vendor was offering.

The idea behind Baithack is to provide a place where people can enjoy a freshly made cup of chai served in a Desi Kulhad along with a wide range of side dishes prepared in the Baithack Kitchen just for them.

What makes Baithack different from others?


There are a few things we had in mind when starting Baithack. For Baithack to be a hit and well-known business there had to be a strong Unique Selling Point. These USPs are not just the icing on the cake but also the building blocks of Baithack.

The clay used in making kulhad , gives the tea a rich and earthy flavour. In the era where Plastic has largely replaced Clay cups, we stubbornly keep our one foot step in our rich culture and let our Indian tradition be preserved. Each cup is made by hand from clay, by those who have the rich craft of clay-pottery but were unemployed once. Tea lovers, swear by the superiority of the kulhads. We ask our customers to throw away the Kulhads, after they finish their Tea, this takes in account the Hygiene Factor, which they wouldnt find in any tapri-chai wallah they seek. Served in Kulhad, piping hot chai (flavoured or masala) paired up with a variety of Snacks; now who wouldnt kill for that?

1. Authenticity never goes out of style-

Chai used to be served in kulhads in the older times, but nowadays, people have switched to reusable cups made from plastic or glass. We care for our customers health and will never serve chai to them in a cup that has been used before. Moreover, kulhad has a lot of health benefits (scientifically proven). Baithack intends on bringing the good old practices back by serving drinks in kulhads.

The ingredients used in Baithack food are all good quality raw materials. We pay extra attention to the hygiene factor. The ambiance of any Baithack outlet will always be clean and fresh. We serve chai in use and throw kulhads which ensures every customer that they are being served in a fresh, unused kulhad. The taste, ambiance, quality, and hygiene factors have helped Baithack set up a high benchmark.

As mentioned earlier, the idea behind Baithack is to provide good quality chai to everyone. Despite providing the best in class (and taste) food, the prices at Baithack will not cast a hole in ones pocket. We want our customers to visit Baithack daily and still be pocket-friendly to them. The prices at Baithack are almost the same as a tapri-chai wallah with the quality and ambiance of a restaurant.

Baithack being a chai-vendor does not mean there is no place for a non-chai-lover. Baithack offers a wide range of flavours and numerous side dishes to go along with the drinks. There are more than 10 different flavours of chai and over 15 other drinks on our menu including coffees, ukalas, shakes etc. The menu of Baithack includes mouth watering eateries including delicious pizzas, pasta, garlic bread, buns, burgers, fries, nachos, sandwiches, noodles, variants of Maggi and starters.

The concept behind Baithack is to tap into and make a permanent place in the heart of Indians. Chai is the name that does the work for us Indians. We ensure everyones morning starts with a sip of perfect Chai. We believe chai in India is as much more than a drink, it is more like emotion. Itd be safe to say that chai is a drink that Indians cant live without.
