Gujarat Industrial & Technical Consultancy Organisation Ltd (GITCO) in association with FICCI and Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) organised a seminar in Ahmedabad to create awareness about intellectual property rights (IPRs) amongst the micro, small and medium enterprises.
The workshop will be for the pharmaceutical industry in the MSME sector and will aim at making them understand the value and necessity of filing IPRs for their innovations.
The state industries commissioner, BB Swain, in his inaugural speech said that MSMEs are the backbone of the industry in Gujarat and they need to be protected. “The IPR is the right tool for them and the state government will support them in registering IPRs,” he added.
