The inception of Dewan Global School took place in 1991 as a small school in the region. Since then, the brand has successfully been transformed into a full-fledged institution, preparing students for all aspects of life. Carrying the legacy, vision, and mission of late Raj Kumar Dewan, the school has carved a niche for itself that recently helped them bag the Best Emerging Play School Award at the Indian Education Congress 2019.

The road to success for any business is a tough task that requires great efforts. “Dewan Global School is a family business that has been running successfully in Meerut. We have a great and hardworking team of teachers to help Dewan Global School emerge as a dominant player in the playschool industry,” shares Dewan.

She further shares, “It all started with my own daughter while I was looking for a quality school for her future development and education. We started with the kids section of Dewan Global School with an aim to modify the playschool industry in India. It’s been 10 years now and the outcomes are really great.”

The modern day parents are highly aware about their rights and the quality of education being imparted to their wards. Hence, educational institutions have to be innovative and creative enough to meet the expectations of the parents and kids. “Our forte has been around innovation and creativity. In fact, today’s kids are smarter according to their age. If a teacher is not creative or innovative, they will be the first competitors educating them about how things could be made more interesting,” shares Dewan. She further adds that her journey as an edupreneur consists of innovation and creativity. “It’s always about ‘their doubts, my answers.’ I am an innovator that believes in doing new things every now and then. The journey for me has never stopped and I am regularly trying to innovate in order to make things more creative and fun experience.”

GAINING MOMENTUM

To scale its business further, the kids division of the Dewan Global School has started offering the franchise. “For expansion, franchising is quite an innovative way to spread the word quickly. As our concept is creative and innovative, the franchising model is certainly going to help us spread our vision and goals as a brand, and reaching out to different demographic locations available in the country. Moreover, the franchising model is perfect for any business that is looking to expand pan-India,” explains Dewan.
