Fire N Grill has created a revolutionary path in the food sector by offering fast food that comes with a high health quotient, writes Toprit Saifi
At times, it’s the sheer intensity of passion that helps overcome all odds. So has been the case with young restaurateur Vikas Jain who, despite lack of any experience in the food and beverage industry, has made a mark in this sector with his brand. He was a total novice when he took his first step but his idea of developing a fast food brand with a healthy quotient was clear. “I am a big fitness enthusiast, and it was disturbing to see young people binging on junk food all the time. This is what motivated me to start Fire N Grill,” he says. The brand has now acquired popularity not only for its health quotient but also for its scrumptious food.
Talking about the growth opportunities, Jain states, “There is ample scope for the brand as today people are more aware about their health. Also, I am going to introduce the ‘pay per gram’ concept in India, which is unique in its own way. Moreover, the margin is also high – anywhere between 35–55%.” Fire N Grill started franchising in 2018 and currently has five outlets in Punjab. “We are specialised in barbeque zero-oil delicacies cooked on rotisseries and comb ovens, which no other brand serves. In this business, anything which is unique always reaps benefits. Our aim is to keep launching innovative concepts,” Jain says.
