The quest to do something innovative in the field of healthcare and medicine, especially to treat degenerative conditions such as diabetes and multiple sclerosis, among others, prompted Dr. Prabhu Mishra to venture into the niche domain of stem cell therapy. Being an accomplished biotechnologist he was certain that this form of treatment, along with medication, would lead to better result and management. “For instance, with stem cell therapy, we can prevent the micro-vascular complications of diabetes by managing the disease,” he says. StemGenn Stem Cell Anti-Ageing Rejuvenation Centre, the company founded by him and Richa Jha in 2014, has thus become a torchbearer in the field.

However, like any other entrepreneurial venture, the journey of StemGenn was also not free of roadblocks. “As a start-up, one of the major challenges faced by us was to create awareness about the benefits of stem cell-based therapies. Of course, the lack of enough investment was another impediment,” says Dr. Mishra.
“With our team of licensed and experienced professionals, we serve the exploding market of repeat clients seeking to feel and look their best at every age,” Dr. Mishra elaborates.


Drawing a contrast with plastic surgerys, he informs, “Unlike plastic surgery that addresses surface looks alone and not the cause, stem cells replace, re-grow, repair and rejuvenate on a cellular level that goes far beyond appearances.”

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

StemGenn offers services like platelet-rich plasma therapy, stem cell therapy, cell rejuvenation therapy, intravenous nutraceutical therapy, hormone replacement therapy, and personalised nutritional treatment. Besides, it also provides rejuvenation programs related to longevity, revitalisation, beauty from within, detoxification, weight management, male libido enhancement, female libido enhancement, menopause management, boosting the immune system, better sleep, brain health as well as programs for specific conditions such as diabetes etc.

We would like to ensure that a potential franchisee is agreeable to our business model and be prepared to be in this industry for a long term.” The company prefers specific categories of professionals to be their partners – as for example, physicians. “Our business model can help a physician develop his or her practice further.” Dr. Mishra states.

Entrepreneurs are welcome too. “They can build an enterprise with our multi-unit business model and serve both the millennial and baby boomer market segments.” Dr. Mishra says. TRAINING AND SUPPORT

A franchisee receives training by experts and faculty at StemGenn about the knowhow of this emerging field. “Also, we provide marketing content assistance through our public relations and communications team to create cohesive and effective campaigns, including a robust social media presence,” Dr. Mishra says. Each centre operates under the direct supervision of a physician. “In some situations the franchisee is also a licensed, supervising physician; however, that is not a requirement of franchise ownership. We can assist non-physician franchise owners recruit the required professional staff. We are open to both the FOFO and FOCO models,” he says.
