A JOYOUS RIDE

The growing demand for preschools in India has motivated many players to venture into this business. JOY Consultancy is one of them, which was started in 2008 with a team of six trainers who worked with different early childhood educational programs in both private and government sectors. The team worked with the Center for British Trainers and developed a play way curriculum with Spices of CBSE to set up a chain of preschools at Hyderabad. The team conducted different workshops for management and teachers as well as orientation programs for parents at different public schools. They also conducted a workshop with Dr. Reddy’s on the topic of ‘Positive Parenting and ECE’ with the association of 200 employees. It was this journey that led the team to launch JOYKIDS Preschools and Day Care in 2009 at Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

INNOVATIVE APPROACH

“Our curriculum has been innovative with skills, including talk shows, observatory studies, inter-school quiz competitions, transfer of learning with conceptual field trips, story-telling and open house exams for preschoolers. More than 450+ new kids enrol every year at JOYKIDS,” he says.

WAY FORWARD

The company is looking to expand pan-India using the FOFO model with like-minded franchise partners who have the passion to work in the preschool education segment. “The value systems and innovative methodologies guide the organisation. I believe that sowing seeds of strong conceptual and ethical values at a tender age are prerequisites for facing the ever changing world of tomorrows,” he believes.
