Mission Digital

Have you ever wondered why ‘digital marketing’ is one of the top searched keywords on the Google list? And why 3 out of 8 “Most in demand skills in India 2018” are in digital marketing. As Devendra Singh, Founder & CEO, DigitalMantra, says, “Digital marketing is the need of the hour. The thrust of the business is enormous. Ignoring digital marketing is like opening a business but not telling anyone”.” The founder is an IIM Calcutta Alumni and has been a part of Digital Marketing since 2010 and introduce himself as marketing Mafia. As of now, digital marketing stands as a booming career option for the youth in India. It has been successful in making a strong impact in the real world with some of the most striking features like instant response, cost-effectiveness, convenience, flexibility and efficacy. Consider this: according to a report on digital advertising by Dentsu Aegis Network, the Indian digital advertising industry, currently pegged at around Rs 8,202 crore, is slated to see a growth at 32% CAGR to reach Rs 18,986 crore by 2020.

EMPOWERING STUDENTS

Having started its journey in 2016, the company offers professional digital marketing classroom training courses to help participants build a career or start their own business. “We are a pure digital marketing training agency providing inputs for Facebook Blueprint and Google Certification, among others. Any professional in any walk of life these days has to touch base with the digital world. There is no shying away from that,” says Santosh Mishra, Co-founder, DigitalMantra. “We are not catering to one part of the society. We believe in delivering quality training to students, professionals, and entrepreneurs,” he says. The company has a centre in Noida where it caters to about 150 students per month. It is also into institutional training wherein the trainers train 500 students in a month at various institutions in Greater Noida. Post completion not only will they become an expert in digital marketing but will be a Google and Facebook Certified Professional.

Talking about the fee structure, Singh says, “We charge Rs 35,000 for a three-month programme.” The company is further planning to blend it with some international certification as well. “We are in talks with Columbia Business School,” Singh reveals. Elaborating about the USP of the courses, he says, “The students get trained by industry professionals and that helps them learn the best throughout the learning process.” With 30+ modules, 80+ hours, 40+ tools and work on upmarket case studies, the curriculum is so created that every student gains knowledge through experiential learning.

GROWING TOGETHER

The company is now looking for the right partners to grow together. “Digital marketing is one of the most flourishing sectors as of now. Hence, if anyone is willing to get into training others, there is an opportunity to create your own institute as our digital marketing franchise partner,” Singh says.

“This domain provides path breaking returns as well as growth. The potential franchisees can expect the breakeven in 12-15 months and progressive income month-on-month,”he claims. The company would offer complete training and support to its franchisees and the franchise benefits would include manpower support, lead generation, centre promotion and marketing and 100% hassle-free operations. Elaborating on these aspects, Singh says, “We all know that the hiring process isn’t an easy task. Our franchise partner need not worry about the same as all the manpower support would be managed by us. Also, our regular training programs will keep everyone engaged, motivated and happy to learn and grow more.”

“Our sales team will help the franchisee with generating leads by identifying and converting a potential customer. This would include exploring various leads in the franchisee’s geographical terrain from online and third-party lead generation websites. With the launch of a franchisee’s centre, our franchise support team will help him or her with all the advertising, public relations and local marketing. We aim to spread a strong awareness about each of our centres through various online platforms so as to help our franchisees maintain a constant growth curve,” Singh says. Keeping each centre updated about the courses and other developments, Singh assures that the franchisees will be backed by a strong support mechanism to make all operations hassle-free.

ROAD AHEAD

The company has been attracting a lot of interest from potential franchisees. “By the end of this
year, we will be having a minimum of 5-6 centres in Delhi-NCR and then look for adding 10 centres pan-India during the first quarter of 2019,” says Singh. “We want all our partners to experience the same success story in their region or location like we did in recent times,” he concludes.
