What skills and training did you receive under this partnership?
Everyone knows that Raymond is a great brand in fabric industry when it comes to men’s clothing. Located strategically in Jaipur, this modernistic tailoring hub is changing the face of tailoring in the country set up in association with my partnership firm called PVR Fashion. This hub iis turning over 25,000 garments annually.
Being renowned for its intricate craftsmanship and the ready availability of skilled talent pool, setting up Raymond Certified Tailoring Hub is providing the much required impetus to the tailoring community in Jaipur.
Through the Hub we received all information and guidance on technical layout, manpower planning, latest machinery and knowledge expertise at the desired location. Additionally, the hubs provide employment to tailors with good wages and all statutory benefits such as provident fund, insurance etc. The tailoring hub uses Garment Positioning System - a tool that has been designed for Tailoring Hub and associated stores to optimize order booking and track the exact status of the garment in the production line so as to ensure on time delivery to the customers.
What is your success mantra while keeping up with the evolving dynamics of the retail customers?
As consumer needs evolve at a rapid pace, there would be an increasing thrust on customization, bringing back custom tailoring in vogue. Our success mantra is customer satisfaction. We are working in our factory as family members. Timely delivery and focusing on providing good quality is our core motif.
What suggestions do you have for those entering this field?
If anyone wants to start this business, my suggestion is that customer satisfaction and good quality should be high on your priority. Your hardwork is the key to ensure this.
How do you intend to scale up in future?
Being a first of its kind in Jaipur, this modern hub provides custom tailored shirts, trousers, jackets and suits. It currently crafts over 25,000 tailored garments annually and we are aiming to increase this number. To achieve it we are working on expanding our machinery, bringing in new ones and rope in good efficient labour to ensure increased production.
