How the brand has evolved over the years?

We started Persang Entertainment with a vision to spread the joy of karaoke entertainment to every Indian. As the karaoke industry is too niche, therefore to launch a business in this category was a challenge, and it was even a bigger challenge to put it among the music and singing lovers. In India, music connects everyone. Thinking this always motivated me to launch the brand, it is that magic, which can bring people together, make them smile and cry. I was always passionate about the business and with overwhelming responses, it persuaded me to grow further. Our mission is to introduce innovative and modern products for the singing enthusiasts and beginners.

We also provide facilities for troubleshooting, inquiries, service and after sales. It has the karaoke systems with excellent sound quality. Our song bank includes over 5,000-plus songs that have already been loaded in the system, and includes the most popular songs in 13 different languages, which are Hindi, English, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Konkani and Nepali.

Where all are you present and through which business model?

We have a pan-India presence via 700 dealers and one company-owned store. Our exclusive brand outlets are present in Ahmedabad, Raipur, Aurangabad, Vadodara, Delhi and Ranchi.

Why would a karaoke-lover choose your brand?

We provide the songs in MP3 format that gives you the real experience of singing. In a way, you can sing and record as well. You get 100 per cent live scoring to improve your singing ability and choose from amateur/good/professional. We provide best quality wired and wireless microphones. We also have features like i-fun -- a real time scoring function that catches every pitch and shows on the screen while singing. Our products like Dzire Plus, Dzire, Aspire Plus and Aspire have been designed with additional features, which indicates a special sign for male/female/chorus singing. We have also crafted products like pitch control to improve one’s singing ability.

What is your criterion for the selection of towns to set up store?

Initially, we do research and accordingly proceed. We see a lot of potentials in metros and tier-I towns, especially in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. We are seeking franchise partners in these cities first and then will move to other towns.

How unique is the design, set-up and format of your stores?

It’s simple not so aesthetic, as it is more into audio.

How suitable is this format for smaller towns?

We have a well-suited format for smaller towns, as these towns don’t have any source of entertainment like bars, disco, pubs, etc.

What kind of support and training do you offer to your franchisees?

We provide all possible trainings to our partners. We support our franchise partners in store layout, operations, stocks. We also offer marketing support to all our partners.

What is Ultimate Karaoke

Karaoke is the combination of the Japanese words kara “empty”, and okesutora “orchestra” is a form of interactive entertainment or video game in which amateur singers sing along with recorded music (and/or a music video) using a microphone and public address system. The music is typically a well-known pop song minus the lead vocal. With the abundant stock of Hindi film music in India, Karaoke is slowly gaining its popularity in India.
