How has franchising helped you to grow your business?

 In which year you got associated with Raymond? How did this alliance take place?

​We got associated with Raymond in the year 1992. We used to and still run a store by the name of 'Bhagwan Stores'​ which is a women's wear retail store in ethnic wear in Malleswaram and since we were the most successful store in our area and Raymond was looking to have a store in Malleswaram. We were approached by the Karnataka Agent  Ravi Shankar to put up a store to which we readily agreed. Ours is the 4th store of Raymond in Bangalore and looking back, it has been the most enriching experience.

​​ What benefits have you enjoyed being associated with Raymond?

​Raymond as a brand does not need any introduction, it is already etched in the memory of every household in India. Having such a strong recall benefits us immensely, also Raymond's continual persistence towards innovation has helped us  to always stay ahead of its competition.​

 

Please elaborate on the training and support that you have received from the brand?

​ We are hand-held in every step.The support and training does not stop once the store opens, periodical training is held both on and off-site to make ​sure  we are well equipped to face the challenge of the ever-changing retail landscape.  

 What was your success story with Raymond and how do you see it in the coming years?

​Ours is a very long association with Raymond and we can safely say that all that we have achieved is only because of Raymond and we see this association only going from strength to strength in the forth coming years.​

 What is your advice you would like to give to the aspiring franchisees of India? 

Our advice to aspiring franchisees' is when they are looking to associate with a brand/company, they should not only look at the top-line or bottom line growth, profits and other hard numbers they should also look at the values of that company, their ethics and morals.
