Tell us about the brand and its strategy that has made it so popular?

White House is renowned for its wide portfolio of internationally-styled formals, suits, sport smart casuals, hardcore casuals, jeans and trousers in the finest fabrics with impeccable fits and premium finishes. The products are designed in a way that reflects youthfulness, optimism, progression and is tuned to the evolving times.

We stayed true to our values and always represented our brand with truthfulness and authenticity from the start by giving a quality fashionable product in an affordable price with a strong customer relationship.

What are the factors that is helping in the growth of White House?

Since its inception, White House has a strong vision to drive the growth and profitability with a focus on the target audience to fulfill their needs and desires. We create demand for our brand through new categories as per the prevailing fashion trends. Our focus has always been on catering to high quality standard for the consumer satisfaction. We regularly take the feedback to research and update our products.

What is the current size and potential of the menswear industry?

The current market size of the menswear segment is Rs 1,30,000 crore and it is the largest segment in India’s apparel market accounting for 42 per cent share in the overall clothing business. This segment is growing at a rate of 9 per cent annually. The majority of the above business comes from the mid-segment category, providing us a good opportunity to explore and achieve the growth.

What is the USP of your brand and what special leverage would a franchisee get post-associating with your brand?

The USP of White House is to deliver the best quality, innovation and value-for-money product to our consumer consistently. By associating, the franchisee would get a chance to sell an established and affordable brand, which is assessable to majority of consumers pan-India.

What is your expansion plan?

Currently, we are operating 40 stores. And in next five years, we are planning to have 200 exclusive brand outlets (EBO) across all the regions.

What makes the concept relevant for franchising?

The goal of White House is to provide a value-for-money, high quality product with the store ambiance of an international brand to our consumers with delight and satisfaction. Franchising will help us to reach a wider audience in an effective and efficient way, and on the other side, the franchisee will benefit from the professional management and the marketing techniques provided by us.

Five mandatory training and support practices you do for your franchisees.

We provide store design and execution of the interiors. Other supports are also offered like:

  • ‘Retail gear’ software is provided by the company for smooth operation of the store.
  • The company provides branding and visual merchandising for the store.
  • Advertisement/ promotion activities are provided by the company.
  • Regular training sessions are conducted for the sales staff in product promotion, store maintenance and customer interaction.
  • Loyalty programme, customer feedback hardware and software with technical backup are also provided by our company.

    For franchisee selection, we are seeking passionate and energetic entrepreneurs, who aim for customer satisfaction and delight.
