What are the key ingredients to a successful indoor cycling experience?
CycleBar remains committed to the three original ingredients for a successful indoor cycling experience including great instructors, great music and a great environment. We opened our first studio in 2005 and have remained dedicated to perfecting the high energy cycling concept ever since. Now, ten years later, we have partnered with like-minded fitness enthusiasts to allow others to benefit from the CycleBar experience.
What’s the brand’s USP?
Instead of a standard exercise studio, we offer a CycleTheatre, complete with 55 bikes, flat-screen TVs, personal exercise data monitors and cool lighting technology. You might even see a DJ booth in the workout room.
How has indoor cycling as a whole changed over the past decade?
The core model has remained constant, but the tools that we can use are constantly evolving. The bikes themselves have made huge strides in comfort, reliability, and in their ability to provide performance metrics to riders. Music technology has exploded, which allows creative instructors to integrate variety of genres, tempos, and eras into their classes. Web-enabled booking and other online services make rider-convenience amazing.
Is the model pay-per-class or membership?
We have flexible packages pay per class or buy multiple classes. Membership is not required but we have a monthly membership option.
What sort of franchisees are you looking for?
We are looking for regional master franchisees with the operating capacity and experience to develop multiple CycleBar Studios on an aggressive schedule.
What about their training and other support?
We would provide them full training in the USA and opening support in India. Besides, ongoing support is provided on all aspects of the business.
How big are your India plans?
We aim to be a major national fitness brand in India and the leader in premium indoor cycling as we are in the US.
