For how long have you been a franchisee and how many outlets do you operate?

It's been almost a year now.

How has your journey been with these brands and how many outlets do you own and operate?

The journey with all of them has been outstanding. I have five stores in my kitty, out of which two are Gulab Sweets, one Pirates of Grill and two Brew Masters, a micro brewery. I am also adding another brand to my kitty which has a casual dine format.

What prompted you to take franchise of F&B sector?

I find F&B sector very challenging and there is tremendous scope in this sector as this industry is in its infant stage of getting organised. I have my own family-run shuttering business which I am still part of. I was inspired to get into F&B industry as I want my children to get into organized business format and get recognized for the same. Also as there is a lot of competition in this industry this makes it more exciting. Besides, the returns are high in this business.

What all support and training do you receive from the brand?

The training and operational support has been exceptionally good for all the brands. For Gulab sweets, I have taken the master franchisee and this has made me even more passionate about the product.

 What are the most important elements to become a successful franchisee?

 To be successful in any business, a franchisee must have good knowledge of the product and sector, must be thorough with his region and have a hunger for growth.

What is your advice to budding entrepreneurs?

Do your homework well. Always invest in a business which is challenging and has a lot of competition as it will make you more dedicated towards it. Give 100% to your work as a franchisee. If you want to be successful you have to make the brand your priority and have to dedicate 365 days a year to your work.
