The Jain Group of Institutions (The JGI Group) is an educational conglomerate of more than 80 institutions across the country, offering education from cradle (kindergarten) to career (university level) with a student base of 50,000 plus across 44 locations. JGI is the country's fastest growing educational group with India's No.1 ranked privately funded university Jain University. Jain Toddlers is the pre-school unit of the JGI Group, with close to 22 branches across the country.

 

Any key achievements/ milestones that you'd like to talk about.

 

The JGI schools have won the best school chain for STEM education and value-centricity and received the award from Salman Khurshid, Hon'ble Union Minister. Jain Heritage School has also bagged the International School Award from the British Council.

 

When did you start out and when did you start franchising?

 

Jain Toddlers started operations in 2007 and started franchising from the year 2012.

 

 

 

How has franchising helped your brand so far? How many franchise schools do you have?

The whole economy has moved from independence to dependence to interdependence. It is further said that in the 21st century your net-worth is directly proportional to your network. The ability of the business to network is greatly determined by the kind of tools that the industry employs. Franchising in this space is a powerful tool and a game changer for it fosters free flow of expertise, exposure and experience between like-minded individuals. We have a total of 5 franchise centers operating as of now.

 

What training and support can the franchisee expect from you?

 

We give initial training for one week to the promoters of the franchise and thereafter an additional training of two days to the teachers for smooth functioning of the school. Periodic visits and audits along with on-call support are an integral part of our offerings.

 

Since your franchise requires huge investment, do you provide any funding support to the franchisees?

 

We give suggestions for accumulating funds to the franchisee.

Franchise facts

Investment: Rs 20 to 25 lakh

Area: 4000 sq. ft.

Location: Good condition and situation of premises

Franchise fee: Franchisee needs to pay a franchise fee of Rs 5 lakh for 5 years from the time of signing of the Franchise Agreement.

RoI: 25% for first year, 28% for second and third year and 30% for fourth & fifth year of the gross revenue on monthly basis.

Break even: 18 to 24 months
