Sowing success seeds

Raising the bar of pre-school education segment in India and offering a unique business prospect for women entrepreneurs, EuroKids is now planning to add 400 more centres pan-India.

WITH a vision to be a predominant player in the pre-school segment by offering the best educational experience to children, EuroKids International Limited began its journey in 2001 with just two pre-schools. Today, the brand enjoys its position as the largest pre-school chain with over 780 pre-schools in 280 towns pan-India. EuroKids pre-schools offer programme for children aged between 1.8 years and 5.5 years.

Presently, EuroKids has a diverse profile of franchisees, but more than 85 per cent of its franchisees are women entrepreneurs. With a firm believe that care, compassion and commitment are the qualities that women naturally inherit, the brand is a perfect platform for its women franchisees to succeed in life.

Eurokids is a conglomeration of women franchisees with varied backgrounds, some of whom are doctors, lawyers and software engineers while others are homemakers. Amit Singh, SBU Head-EuroKids, says: “Most of them have been first-time entrepreneurs. The EuroKids proposition has been a major success story for most of our women entrepreneurs. Around 20 per cent of our franchisees have multiple EuroKids centres in a given geography.”

Today EuroKids enjoys the undisputed leadership position in both number of pre-schools and students that it serves. EuroKids is also planning to add 400 new centres to its present count. This move is expected to increase its presence to about 400 towns and cities from the current figure of 280. The brand has also strengthened its presence with a pre-school in Dubai and is planning to double its footprint in the Middle East and GCC countries.
