CANON Image Square, an exclusive brand retail store launched by Canon India Pvt Ltd, caters to all digital imaging needs. It was created to provide Indian consumers an experience before buying that allows them to use and experience all the technological products that it offers. The brand not only aims to sell products, but aims to educate customers about the wide range of Canon products.

It’s a one-stop destination for people with imaging needs, enabling increased visibility and reach across the country with an objective to boost sales. For consumers, Canon Image Square showcases a wide range of products that includes cameras, camcorders, photo printers, D-SLRs and lenses, inkjet printers, entry level laser printers, consumables and accessories.

Each store has over 80 SKUs on display. The wide display of products allows customers to enjoy a rich technological experience with an environment to make a purchase.

A customer can touch, feel and understand all about a product and then make an informed purchase.

A promising deal!

With a humble beginning in 2010, Canon Image Square today operates via franchise model. Currently, the brand boasts of its strong foothold with 42 outlets spanning across cities like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, Cochin, Jaipur, Mysore, Nagpur and Nasik. The area covered by each outlet will vary from a minimum of 800 sq. ft to 1,200 sq.ft. Praveen Sahni, Assistant Director - Retail division, Canon India Pvt Ltd, firmly believes: “The company expects to grow more than industry's current growth.”

Expansion

By this year, Canon Image Square has plans to take its store count to 50. Marching ahead, Canon Image Square will be opening 300 stores in the next three years. By 2014, the company expects to have 300 operational stores at least in 150 cities across the country.
