It is with the above premise that ZILS (Zee Interactive Learning Systems) ventured into pre-primary education, primarily to meet the social obligation to proliferate this whole concept of building a firm foundation for life-long learning is in giving the best start to children in their early years.

With this thought he introduced the CBAR (Child Behavior Assessment Report). The aim of curriculum recognizes the wide range of interest, skills and abilities of individual students and provides activities through the play way method relevant to their needs. A panel of experts to ensure its relevance in the emerging society regularly reviews the school curriculum.

v Early childhood educators must build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to promote the well being of young children.

We help parents and caregivers identify pathways beyond the early years for the next phase of their children`s learning and development. We guide parents with a bridge course to help them with the transition of their children from Preschool to Formal School.

KIDZEE shares and helps Business Partners celebrate achievement within a well ordered and caring environment by conducting relevant competitions for the children, like fancy dress competition, healthy baby contest. What is an ideal learning environment?

It needs to be secure, stimulating, creative and clearly defined. Our Early Childhood Programme is “ideal” in action. Our class size for instance assures individualised attention as well as kid sized challenges.

Making children feel at home with learning is the first step. From the start we encourage children to make learning a hands on experience.

It is important for children to stretch their wings on their own as well as fly in formation with their peers, so the ideal KIDZEE day is designed into a mix of small and large group activities as well as a large block of individual choice time.

Programmes: Child sized schedules and play based curricula.

Language Development: The focus is on developing basic communication skills and establishing confidence and enthusiasm for a world language. Language is taught through songs, games, art and conversation followed by story time.

Mathematics and Number work: Beginning math is as practical as play itself, not only does it include strategies like counting and number recognition but also many activities that children first encounter as games and sorting, seriations, matching, classification etc….

Science: Questions! Ouestions!! Questions!!! Inquiry and Discovery really begin with questions and we encourage them to ask questions, and their little world, will be awakened with the wonders of science. Hands on experience followed by simple experiments sets them on the trail of exploration.

Music: Music is alive in more ways than one, singing songs and rhymes in English and all the regional languages. We have cut 3 Rhyme CDs and 4-5 Rhyme books including regional languages, to guide and encourage parents and teachers.

Art: Early childhood art is a creative colourful and joyful programme. Our emphasis is on doing, children experience various media and are given the opportunity to create art in many forms: Drawing, painting, block printing, etc….

Physical education: Gets every child moving, from simple exercises to Yoga, practicing to develop their large motor skills and small motor skills, they aerobise to their favorite songs, with many body movements, they develop coordination and cooperation.

Little Chefs at work explore the world of fireless cooking activities through which they learn the concepts of soft hard etc…

Library: Our Franchise system has provided the schools with a rich resource in the form of books, they have a well-stocked library, the children participate in read aloud Programmes and also have story telling sessions…

Field Trips and picnics are an integral part of the learning experience; a well planned out curriculum complimented with relevant outdoor visits enhances the learning.

Keeping children meaningfully occupied is a key concern for all educators. Pre- school is the time when learning needs to happen through fun and play, KIDZEE is into composition of nursery rhymes CDs. From the time babies are born they naturally respond to the sound of music and rhythmic activities.

Children`s learning is significantly enhanced when they are exposed to songs and rhymes from early childhood. Keeping this in mind, KIDZEE complied and developed a selection of rhymes covering a vast range and variety of topics. KIDZEE as of now has composed two English (Sing & Shake and Doodle Diddle) CDs, one Hindi (Geeto Ki Gaadi) CD and one Bengali rhyme CD. These rhymes will help children in relating to and understanding their environment.

Future Plans

During last few years, ZILS has successfully diversified its portfolio of services/products in the Kids domain.

With significant and defining growth in the preprimary segment product - Kidzee, the forward/backward integration into the care segment “Kidzcare”, and schooling domain “ Kidzee High” was a natural extension of its existing competencies into more niche segment with far reaching impact on the company`s strategic presence in this domain which is certainly going to be felt for long as a defining move in this segment in the country.
