HCL comes up with 100 IT training centres

HCL Infosystems plans to set up 100 career development centres (CDC) across India in the next 12 to 15 months.

HCL Infosystems plans to set up 100 career development centres (CDC) across India in the next 12 to 15 months. Because designing of the courses take into account specific needs of today's organisations, students, from the very day of passing out, will be capable to take on enterprise-wide I-T deployment and integrated assignments without further training from their prospective employers. Already 20 centres are in operation across seven cities and the company plans to set up similar centres in India as well abroad. Of the proposed 100 centres, 20 would be the company's own branch centres while the others would operate under franchise agreements. HCL has plans to produce at least 50,000 well-trained and skilled I-T professionals over a three-year period and ensure their placement as well.
