Costa Coffee multiplies its presence in India

Devyani International, the master franchisee in India for Costa Coffee, Britain's coffee chain, plans to invest Rs 25 crore for setting up 50 outlets across the country this year.

Devyani International, the master franchisee in India for Costa Coffee, Britain's coffee chain, plans to invest Rs 25 crore for setting up 50 outlets across the country this year. The company plans to bring Costa Coffee in key cities of north India with outlets in Agra, Meerut, Amritsar and Chandigarh. Recently, the company opened outlets in Jaipur, Lucknow and Ludhiana. Outlets are also coming up at Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore. Already, the coffee chain has the strength of 20 outlets in Delhi and NCR. Above all these, the chain is introducing the concepts of Cart and Kiosk. Kiosk model, a full-fledged structure, would serve the menu of Costa foods and beverages whereas Cart model, smaller model, would serve only coffee.
