Ethos looks forward to expand

Ethos, an emerging retail chain for premium watches which has its headquarter in Chandigarh, is all set to expand its network in the entire country. The company has decided to open more than 24 stores in the next two years.

Some locations for the same have been finalized while others are in the pipeline. The key locations where the brand is determined to get established are Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Banglore. The company has decided to open more outlets at new locations, but as the mall culture is still in its infancy in towns like Chandigarh, so it has decided to have design studios in conventional showrooms in Punjab. The company has a market share of 3 to 4 per cent and is growing at 40 per cent per annum. Ethos has estimated the Indian market for watches to be about Rs, 2,000 crore and the company aims at holding about 12 per cent of that market. With huge expansion plans the company is determined to make a place for itself in the Indian watches market.
