YatriKart has entered into a ₹120 crore partnership with MMG Group to open 1,000 Quick Stop stores across India over the next five years.
MMG Group will fund the store infrastructure and capital expenditure, while YatriKart will handle operating costs, technology, supply chain, staffing and day-to-day operations. MMG Group had earlier backed YatriKart through a strategic equity investment in 2024.
“Our aim is to make YatriKart the familiar quick stop for these everyday moments,” said Gaurav Rana, Founder and CEO, YatriKart. He added that the company’s focus is on making every store dependable for customers and building an operating model that can scale through technology, a strong supply chain and consistent execution.
The first phase will cover 100 stores in Delhi NCR, with rollout already under way. These stores will be located at high-footfall sites such as fuel stations, highways, bus stands and other transit hubs, before the brand expands to other markets.
YatriKart currently operates more than 80 stores across eight cities at petrol pumps, highways, hospitals, corporate parks and transit hubs. Its compact stores offer coffee, food, beverages and daily essentials. The 1,000-store rollout is part of the company’s larger plan to open 5,000 Quick Stop stores in five years.
The company will also launch a consumer app that allows customers to locate stores along their route, pre-order, and receive their orders in their vehicles at participating fuel stations and select locations.
Anant Agarwal, Promoter, MMG Group, said the YatriKart team has experience across Indian Railways, Delhi Metro, hotels, hospitals and temples, and has built a partner network of about 500 stores. He noted that its corporate partnerships give it access to a potential pool of around 60,000 locations. “We are backing both the market opportunity and a team that has learned, adapted and built the foundations for growth,” Agarwal said.
