Webber Electrocorp, an electric vehicle technology company, has launched a new service network called ‘Webber Care Point’ to address the after-sales support gaps in India’s rapidly growing EV market. Alongside this platform, the company unveiled its latest WBMS-SWLT battery management system on May 30, 2025.
The service network uses IoT sensors, artificial intelligence, and digital tools to provide diagnostics, repairs, and remote monitoring for electric vehicles. Customers can book services via a mobile application, while manufacturers gain access to centralized dashboards for battery monitoring and customer support.
Webber Care Point operates through certified service hubs staffed by trained technicians and supports multiple EV brands and battery types. The platform offers predictive diagnostics, real-time health reports, on-demand repairs, and annual maintenance contracts for both individual users and fleet operators.
During the pilot phase, service centers in Delhi NCR and Pune have handled over 300 monthly service requests. Four battery manufacturers have adopted Webber’s certified systems, and more than 1,000 users have tested the mobile app. The service has earned a 4.8-star customer rating, and fleet operators report up to a 30% reduction in vehicle downtime.
India EV market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 49% through 2030, with over 3 million electric vehicles projected on the roads by 2027.
Webber Electrocorp plans to expand its services across Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, and pilgrimage routes in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the initial phase. By early 2026, the company aims to establish over 100 service hubs nationwide. The third phase will focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities via franchise operations, targeting over 15,000 customers.
The WBMS-SWLT battery management system supports 16-cell configurations and 48-60V platforms, featuring fault detection, thermal alerts, and data logging. It complies with India’s AIS-156 Phase II safety standards.
Founded in 2019 by IIT Kharagpur graduate Manuj Agrawal, Webber Electrocorp manufactures battery management systems, motor controllers, and EV chargers from its Pune facility, working towards reducing India’s dependence on imported EV components.
