Value fashion retailer V2 Retail has expanded its footprint across India with the launch of six new stores, taking its total store count to 250 just ahead of the country’s peak festive season. The new outlets have opened in key Tier II and Tier III markets: Kanchrapara (West Bengal), Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), Zirakpur (Punjab), Godda (Jharkhand), Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), and Bangla Sahib (Bihar). The expansion reflects the company’s continued strategy to grow in high-potential, underserved markets.
“This is a proud moment for us. Opening six stores in one day as we hit the 250-store milestone is a significant achievement,” said a company spokesperson. The Kanchrapara store, located in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, opened just in time for the Durga Puja season — one of the busiest shopping periods in the region.
Chairman and Managing Director Ram Chandra Agarwal, who began his retail journey with a single store in Kolkata’s Lalbazar area, said the latest milestone reaffirms V2 Retail’s commitment to expanding access to affordable fashion in smaller cities.
V2 Retail also reported strong financial growth in the first quarter of FY26, with consolidated revenue rising 52% year-on-year to ₹632 crore for the April–June period.
