Titan Company has announced that Suparna Mitra, CEO of its Watches and Wearables Division, will be stepping down from her role effective August 12, 2025. The decision marks the end of Mitra’s 15-year journey with the Tata Group-owned company.
Mitra cited personal reasons for her resignation in a letter addressed to Titan’s Managing Director, C.K. Venkataraman. “I am eternally grateful to the company for giving me the opportunity to serve, contribute and grow in the past many years," she wrote, as reported by Indian Retailer Bureau. "The last five years as CEO... have been particularly rewarding and gratifying."
Since joining Titan in 2006 as Global Marketing Head, Mitra played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s identity and broadening its lifestyle portfolio. Her leadership over the past five years as CEO has been marked by strategic initiatives that fueled growth and innovation in the fast-evolving wearables space.
Before taking on the top role in the division, Mitra held several leadership positions within the company, including Business Head for the South region, where she oversaw operations across Titan’s watches, jewellery, and eyewear verticals. She began her career at Arvind Brands, where she served as Business Head for Lee.
Titan confirmed the resignation in a regulatory filing and is expected to reveal its succession plan in the coming weeks.
