Statiq has announced a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), under which HPCL’s extensive EV charging network will be integrated into the Statiq mobile app via the EVLinq platform. This collaboration is expected to significantly strengthen India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
Through this partnership, 5,100 chargers, including 2,900 DC fast chargers, will now be available on the Statiq platform, offering EV users across the country real-time information and easy access to charging stations.
HPCL currently operates over 23,000 petrol pumps nationwide and is rapidly expanding its EV charging network under the Government of India’s PM eDrive scheme. This partnership positions HPCL as a key player in India’s EV transition.
The EVLinq platform will allow users to effortlessly locate and access HPCL charging stations while ensuring interoperability with multiple EV charging protocols. This integration further strengthens Statiq’s role as a leading EV charging aggregator and supports charge point operators (CPOs) and e-mobility service providers (eMSPs) in better managing and utilizing the charging infrastructure.
Raghav Arora, Co-founder and CTO of Statiq, expressed his excitement about the collaboration. "We are thrilled to welcome HPCL’s vast charging network to the Statiq platform. This partnership not only scales up our network but also aligns with our mission to make EV charging seamless and accessible for every Indian EV owner. EVLinq has been built to power such large-scale integrations, and we are optimistic about the future of EV mobility in India.”
Statiq is actively working towards establishing 20,000 charging points by the end of 2025 through strategic partnerships and is committed to building an open, interoperable EV infrastructure across the country.
