
Fashion brand Pepe Jeans London has announced the appointment of Rakesh Jallipally as the Chief Executive Officer for its India operations, effective July 24, 2025.
Bringing with him over 18 years of experience across fashion, retail, and consumer technology sectors, Jallipally steps into the role with a reputation for driving growth, brand transformation, and digital innovation. His appointment signals a renewed focus on expanding Pepe Jeans' presence in India’s dynamic apparel market.
Prior to this, Jallipally served as Vice President at Flipkart, where he led the launch and rapid growth of “Spoyl,” a fashion platform tailored to Gen Z consumers. He also oversaw the platform’s men’s fashion business. His earlier stints include pivotal leadership roles at Reliance Retail, where he helped launch AZORTE, and a decade at Arvind Fashions Ltd., where he helmed iconic brands like USPA and Flying Machine as CEO and COO. He began his career managing retail operations at Raymond Ltd. in South India.
An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Jallipally holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Marketing and Strategy.
