
Montra Electric, the clean mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has launched its new SUPER CARGO electric three-wheeler in Bengaluru. Specifically designed for last-mile cargo delivery, the vehicle is priced starting at ₹4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, post-subsidy).
The SUPER CARGO comes equipped with a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering 70 Nm torque and 11 kW peak power, with a 23% gradeability and a gross vehicle weight of 1.2 tonnes. The company is offering a 5-year or 1.75 lakh km warranty on the battery.
The launch event was graced by Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director of TI Clean Mobility Private Limited, along with Business Head Roy Kurian and CEO Saju Nair. The SUPER CARGO is available in three configurations: 170 cubic feet, 140 cubic feet, and tray deck variants.
The electric three-wheeler is built with a Boron Steel chassis and features the longest wheelbase in its segment. Advanced safety features include front disc brakes, hill-hold function, reverse assist, seat belts, regenerative braking, and multiple driving modes.
In partnership with Exponent Energy, the company is offering a 15-minute 100% fast charging solution in two of its variants, significantly improving operational efficiency for commercial users.

Bookings for the SUPER CARGO have begun across 90+ cities in India. The vehicle is available in four color options: Chilli Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue, and Stallion Brown.
