MATTER Launches Lifetime Battery Warranty for Electric Bike AERA

Electric mobility startup MATTER has launched India’s first Lifetime Battery Warranty for its electric motorbike AERA. Offered under the MATTER Care program, the initiative aims to eliminate consumer concerns about battery lifespan and enhance trust in electric vehicle ownership.

The warranty is made possible by MATTER’s in-house development of battery packs and Battery Management Systems (BMS). The technology has been rigorously tested across diverse terrains and temperatures, proving its durability, performance, and safety, which enabled the company to offer this industry-first commitment.

MATTER is also the first company in India to introduce liquid-cooled battery technology in electric two-wheelers, ensuring better thermal stability and efficiency in Indian weather and road conditions.

Battery replacement is typically a major cost for EV owners. With this Lifetime Battery Warranty, MATTER aims to offer greater affordability and long-term peace of mind, allowing riders to enjoy their journeys without financial stress over battery issues.

The warranty is now available to all new customers purchasing MATTER’s AERA electric motorbike, reinforcing the company’s mission to mainstream electric mobility in India.
