
Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd has announced major leadership changes effective October 1, 2025, as part of a strategic succession plan to drive future growth and governance, subject to shareholder approval.
Founder Patanjali Govind Keswani will continue as Executive Chairman, focusing on strategic oversight, asset-light expansion, and ensuring a smooth transition of operational duties.
Neelendra Singh has been named Managing Director, bringing 26 years of experience from retail giants like Adidas, where he last served as Managing Director for India. He will lead day-to-day operations and all business functions.
Current CFO Kapil Sharma, who has been with the company since 2004, is elevated to the Board as Executive Director and CFO, continuing to oversee finance, legal, procurement, and strategic functions.
Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, who joined as President in June 2025, will continue to lead operations, HR, and revenue. He brings 28 years of experience in hospitality, previously with IHG, Oberoi, and Marriott.
Changes at Fleur Hotels Ltd (Subsidiary)
At Lemon Tree’s subsidiary Fleur Hotels, Keswani remains Executive Chairman, while Saurabh Shatdal has been appointed Managing Director & CEO. Shatdal, a hospitality and real estate veteran, last served as Managing Director - Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield.
Mayank Sharma continues as CFO, bringing over 15 years of experience in financial strategy, and Sanjeev Jain remains VP – Projects & Engineering, overseeing hotel development and renovation.
These appointments reflect Lemon Tree’s commitment to leadership continuity, operational excellence, and strategic growth in India’s expanding hospitality sector.
