Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of its latest property — Lemon Tree Resort, Pench, Maharashtra, as the hospitality brand continues to grow its presence in nature-based destinations across India. The resort will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.
The upcoming resort, located near the renowned Pench National Park, will feature 60 well-appointed rooms and a range of amenities, including a restaurant, banquet hall, swimming pool, spa, and recreational facilities. With Nagpur Airport 85 km away and Nagpur Railway Station 62 km from the site, the property is accessible via both public and private transportation networks.
Set amidst the lush landscapes of central India, Pench National Park is one of the country’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. Shared between Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and spread across 758 sq km, the park is famed for inspiring Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. It offers a rich ecosystem home to species like the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, striped hyena, and four-horned antelope.
Commenting on the signing, Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO - Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, said:
“We are delighted to further enhance our wildlife portfolio, where we already have five existing properties. This resort will also strengthen our footprint in Maharashtra, where we currently operate 14 hotels and have 10 more in the pipeline.”
The signing of Lemon Tree Resort, Pench marks another step in the company’s strategy to tap into India’s eco-tourism and leisure travel sectors, offering guests unique experiences in some of the country's most biodiverse regions.
